Oasis for Children

Summer program 2011: Diggin’ Up Good Books. A program filled with music, puppets, origami and story-telling featuring Lisa’s favorite books from childhood. Lots of audience participation and original story songs. All ages. Although many of the books are for younger children, I will have the older students up front helping me with the story-telling. Fun for all!!

Texas Cowgirl and Critters 2009

Come meet all of our great Texas Critters at Lisa's new summer library program. Making appearances will be the mockingbird, the longhorn, the monarch butterfly, the armadillo, the Mexican free-tail bat, the Texas horned lizard and the unofficial state snake, the Rattlesnake. Also appearing will be Duke the cowboy telling Tall Tales by the campfire. Lisa will be singing original songs while playing guitar and even playing a bit of harmonica. Be ready for an uninvited visit from a non-native species (Wogstead the poison dart frog) and learn how this can be disruptive to the environment. (Don't worry-they're all PUPPETS!!)

Please be my guest and Download images for posters to promote shows.
